For eleven years I have been in my house. My mortgage company then was through Hud. Then they changed it to Simon Bros who turned the mortgage over to Litton loans. Since then it has been a living nightmare.

I have during this time had two heart attacks, a pacemaker placed, along with an artificial mechanical valve. To add to that I have had two Strokes which has affected my memory.

For three years I have been debating with Litton Loan about my mortgage payment. First they stated that I had no insurance, in which I did, then they said that I needed to pay the taxes because it had went up and they had to use some of the money to catch it up. All this time I have never received a payment booklet or receipt from them.I had filed bankruptcy and Litton Loans are trying to get me out of it so that they can forclose on my loan.
Now they are trying to foreclose on my house because they say I am behind and will never catch up.

I have just about all of my cancel checks which shows I am not behind but they will not return my call. They also went up on my mortgage for about six months without me knowing it and now refuse to take any payments I try to make.

Now after going to court I have 45 days to get a second Mortgage or try and work something out with them. So They added all that extra payment where they went up on the mortgage along with other payment and states I owe a total of $10,000 or more. I cannot contact them and they will not return my call.

These people are nothing but a "Rip Off" and something need to be done about them. They are crooks and so are their Lawyers. Please help me and others to put Litton Loan out of business and where they need to be, and that is in "Hell".

Linda,

It's obvious that Litton has backed you up against the wall. I would go back to court and request an extension of time to resolve this matter as 45 days is never enough to acquire a new loan. I know as I have been in your shoes, but with a different mortgage company. You can also request the Judge to order a forensic audit of your loan papers. Speak to the Clerk at the courthouse and ask for help in order to do this of requests. It's two requests, so you will need to ask. See if you can find an accountant familiar with mortgage loans who is capable of auditing your loan papers. If the court orders it request that the auditor be paid by the mortgage company. Try to point out to the court that there are errors with the loan. Also, contact The Coalition for MOrtgage Reform in Dallas, Texas as he will review your mortgage documents and give you a detail of them for free. Don't let them take your home. They are performing illegal practices and the court system does know this, but you have to fight for this. There are a couple of class action suits filed against Litton and posted on other sites. Search for them. You may be able to add your name to the list of plaintiffs.

Also, contact the National Community Reinvestment Coalition in Washingtong, DC, they have a consumer rescue fund that may be able to help you. Look them up on the web.

Don't give up as that's what they want you to do. Keep fighting as you have rights and they have violated your legal rights.

Good luck!!!

Also know that I am not an attorney and cannot by law give out legal advice. None of this is legal advice, just advice from a consumer who has gone through a similar situation and has come out of it still owning her home.
