Live Out Loud, Loral Langemeier Loral Langemeier Costs thousands of dollars but see no return on your investment. San Rafael, California
After running across Live Out Loud (LOL) on the internet, I ordered a couple of Lorals books and listened to a few of her free webinars. They all contained useful information and all were of course trying to up-sell her more expensive programs. She also spent some time bad mouthing Suze Orman.
I was sold on trying to make more money with my own business. I signed up for her coaching program and the Cash Machine workshop. The coaching was too slow and only so-so in helping. The Cash Machine was okay and at the end of it, she pushed signing up for her Big Table (LBT) or coaching.
Since I was already part of her coaching program and I didn't find it to my liking, I asked to take that money that I had paid and put it towards the Big Table. Of course, she said okay. That is more money for her as it would cost me more money. The Big Table, at this time, was running around $11,000.
Once I got signed up and started checking into it, I realized that the trip to Lake Tahoe, NV was going to cost me more than I could afford. I would have to pay for airfare, rental car, hotel room and food. Not only that, but you have to make 3 trips out there! During all of this, I got a divorce and could no longer afford to do these kinds of things.
I started talking to people that have been involved in her programs and they had all quit their new businesses and some had even quit working for Loral. The programs don't work unless you already have money. She wants you to invest in her real estate ventures.
I tried to get a refund for what I had paid in, but was told I couldn't because of the contract. If she is really so concerned about the people she says she is trying to help, she would refund people's money. I am out about $9,000 ( I didn't competely finish paying for LBT) and have nothing to show for it but more debt. I am a college educated professional and if any one was going to make it work it was me. The coaching was not done by somebody wealthy as was promised and there was really not enough help as far as what needed to be done when.
I would like my money back for the coaching and the Big Table. I am not interested in getting my money back for the books or the Cash Machine Workshop. I know they still have my file because they keep calling me and sending me emails extending my contract so that I can come to the Big Table.
There is more detail that can be said, but the people that have been involved already know those kinds of detail and people that aren't involved yet, don't do it. Buy the books and learn what you need from them.
