Living Essentials Strikes again with reoccuring fees more than a year later Vista California
This last December some LE charge with an 866 number showed up on my Discover Card with a $69.00 charge. I had no idea what it was and promptly called the number. There was only a voice recording and a few options of which button to push. I called a few times to try to speak to a live person, but no luck; so I followed their rules and supposedly had a refund in the works.
I called Discover and disputed the claim. I had a temporary reversal of credit for about 2 weeks, but then it returned. And then I remembered some time in 2007 trying out some energy supplement pills, but returning them a week later. Whatever the fine print was must be legitimate, but the refund still has not come and I am still working with Discover to get the $69.00 back.
