I ordered a Widget Love makeup brush set voucher from Living Social and completed the order on September 7, 2012; today's November 5, 2012 and I still have no brushes!

I have sent numerous emails to Widget Love inquiring about my order; it started out as generic email reply that it usually take 3-4weeks to receive a order. Then I was finally given a tracking number for my package and the reasoning for the delay was the brush set was being held by Customs.

I was told that once Customs release my package it should be no more than 10 days until I receive my package. I have been tracking this package everyday since receiving the tracking code and its been saying the same thing that it is somewhere in China!

After about a week I tried emailing and calling Living Social to get a refund because clearly this is a ripoff and scam; I was told repeatedly that Living Social is not responsible for issuing a refund and I need to settle my issue with Widget Love. I would think that since I made my payment to Living Social, they can issue me a refund and take any further action up with Widget Love since they are offering deals with them and have some sort of actual contact with them.

Not only because I paid them directly but because I am a regular customer of theirs and the idea of customer loyalty. Living Social dropped the ball when it came to selecting/accepting Widget Love to advertise a deal through them. Also because of the lack of accountability, problem resolution skill and basic customer service skills. I will NEVER order through Living Social AGAIN!

If they dropped the ball once they will most certainly do it again with another company. Living Social took my payment 2 months ago and that package is still sitting in China!! And Living Social say they are not responsible for issuing a refund. Leads me to believe and you should be warned!

That not only is Widget Love a SCAM but Living Social as well because they took the payment! Beware of these two companies and don't order from them!

After contacting Living Social twice, I have received a "refund" in the way of Deal Bucks. I can use it for any other Living Social deal. I felt this was nice and resolved the issue for me. 

As for Widget Love- they offered me 50% my next order and free shipping (which I don't think I will be using). They also said they were sorry for the delay in receiving my package and it should be here within 7-10 days or "hopefully sooner". That was a month ago and no package from them yet .

I wish I would have known this a few months ago! I also placed an order on Sept 7th for the Touch, Learn, and Play from Widget Love through Living Social. Today is Nov 16th and I am still waiting. 

I had tried to research before I bought, but didn't find this site until now. Here I see that there have been multiple problems, not only with the company but also with the product. 

I just sent my first email to Widget Love, so I hope to hear back from them, but now I am not sure I will. 

My package also says it is in China and something about the "point of origin" is "releasing" it????

I have not tried to contact Living Social, but I agree that they should have some responsibility. 

Hope you get things straightened out soon!
