Liz whytes, Liz - apparently has a secretary's who tried contacting me I was selling a Cologne on the Facebook marketplace and this person by the naked of Liz not sure her las name but said she was interested and wanted to show her husband. So she said I couldn't only contact her through email so I emailed her and she replied. She said she will pay for I think and add an additional 50 dollars to it for me holding the item. Then she will get her shipper to pick it up. I said that was alright that I'm earning money. Then she said that she'll send a check and that the remainder of the money minus my additional 50 should be transferred to her shipper via, western union or money gram. I thought that was weird because why couldn't she just pay her shipper a head of time and why do I have to do it. Then we got in more contact through text about what address am I suppose to send it to but the person just gave me a name and area code that was it. I was like the bank needs more than that to transfer money because but I wanted to do it via bank transfer. They said western union or money gram is best and you can do it at your local Walmart. At this point I started to become more hesistant and see that things weren't because adding up. Internet
Scammed on Facebook marketplace. Luckily I caught that I was being scammed before it was too late. Person goes by the name Liz and says she has a secretary. I believe this person is a male even though they claim they are a girl because of through frequent contact he started to talk like a dude. I had a Cologne for sale on Facebook marketplace. This person wanted to purchase it and said I should contact through email. I email the person and she said that she will pay me an additional 50 dollars for holding the item for her and that's her secretary would send the check to me via mail. Also that she will be ok Texas to visit her grandparents. They wanted me to send the remainer of money to shipper via money gram or western union . They were adiment on moneygram or western union. I started to think this person sounds rich if they have a secretary that u don't need to purchase a doings of Facebook when u can afford a new new one. Then they person started to contact me frequently on when I'm transferring the money and how he check was. I began to be cautious and realized this person keeps asking about the transfer and not about the Cologne at all. Then I asked why go through well this for a Cologne it nakedness no sense. Things didn't add up and they didn't answer my questions. So the next day I went to the bank to check the authenticity of the check and they told me it was fake. They now have an investigation on my case. The person sent me the check from Amazon.com.KYDC.inc from Seattle Washington. It was though FedEx. After I told the perosn I know they are a scam and that the check was fake they did not reply. But then I got a text from a different number and area code claiming to be Liz secretary saying that it's urgent to reply asap. I told her that they are being investigated for their scam and I got no reply. By the tone of the person after we communicated through text I got the vibe of a boy and not a girl. I think it's a guy.
