I went on line and saw an ad for free credit card scores. I clicked on it and filled in all the information. Then it ask for my credit card number saying it would cost $1.00. I gave them my numbers. Now my credit card has been charged $1.00 by each of the following companys. PMIDENTITY CO.,PRIVACYMATTERS, AND YOURSAVINGSCL. I was suppose to get an e-mail from them telling me how I could see my score. I have never received the e-mail. I have not contacted them yet. But will in the next few days.

Your first tip-off that this may be a rip-off would be that they were going to charge you $1.00 for a "free" credit score.

You probably signed up for a monthly monitoring service without knowing it. The first thing you need to do is do a search for this companies web site and search for how to cancel. This is usually a phone number to call. Since you were charged 3 times you may actually have 3 different services and may need to make 3 different cancellations.

You then need to monitor your credit card statements very carefully over the next several months. If you find additional charges you need to immediatly send in a dispute to your credit card company.
