Complaint Review: Lloyds Asset Management

In early January, 2011, I transferred $5,000 of my funds to Lloyds Asset Management to open an account with them to purchase some silver.  Their interest and commissions were on the high side, but I decided to go with them any way.  During the next few months, it was sometimes difficult to contact my broker, and they did not always return my telephone messages, but they were sending me a monthly statement (although I never did receive my statement for July, 2011.)  Things were going OK, though, and I was ahead of the game with my silver purchase.

In July, 2011, I eventually decided to close my account and take some profits.  However, when I called their main number to speak with my broker, I got a message that said the number was no longer in service.  I had no way to contact any of their people to let them know that I wanted to take profits and close my account. 

I recommend that anyone who wants to start trading precious metals should stay away from Lloyds Asset Management, because they are a bunch of crooks.  They cannot be trusted, and they are likely to close their doors and run off with your money at any time.  Stay away from these people!!!
