I borrowed Money from LoanPointUSA.com with all good intentions to pay it back in allotted time perod. Unfortunately I went out on disability and have not been able to return to work as of yet.

I have been receiving calls from a woman at this company at all hours of the day/evening and numerous calls a day from 8am to 8pm. Finally I made arrangements to pay $100.00 via MoneyGram. This was my last bit of money for the month of November. After going to pay this I thought I can't do this I wil have no money until the next month to buy food and live off. So I did not pay it.

I avoided MS Shaws calls until yesterday 11/26/2007. I called her because I wanted to figure out how to make good on this loan? She told me since I did not pay as agreed either I pay 490.00 +(interest keeps adding up) or she will turn it over to the attorneys. I stated this was crazy I could not make that kind of agreement but I could send in $100.00 in December when I receive my disability check.

Wrong, this woman expected me to borrow from friends/family etc. to pay this bill! I am behind on my mortgage and utilities etc.and she wants me to borrow for this loan when I need a roof to have over my head.

Ms. Shaw said she would have to turn it over to attorneys. I said who would I expect to hear from and how will they contact me? This woman read me the RIOT act on how I owed them money and she did not have to explain anything to me with that she hung up.

I know this company is scam but I borrowed the money and do intend/want to pay it back. How does one work things out when the person in charge at this company is unwilling to work with you? What can they do since my checking account has been closed since I had fraudulent activity on it (I have filed a dispute with the bank on that one).

So do I sit an wait for this company to some how screw me from the back? No one else will speak with me there because the case was assigned to this woman Ms. Shaw and I am wondering what they can do to me?

Lesson Learned NEVER use these quick fix schemes to help you out of debt! They can always come back to haunt one...anyone else worked with this company and have any suggestions?
