My experiences with Lobel is not any different from the hundreds of complaints filed against them on the web not to mention the massive settlement they were forced to pay due to predatory and unfair lending practices.

I bought a car from a dealer and they were the ones that accepted my loan (one of many actually.) when buying from a dealer in a sub prime world you take whatever bank accepts you and you don't have the luxury of researching them.

After about a month of trying to make a payment i got nothing but random transferring from one extension to the next.  Finally I gave up and learned that they took my car without ever notifying me.

This is where the real fun started:

After literally spending all day on the phone with them, I still dont know who took my car or how to get my stuff back.  the staff is not able to answer my calls so they put me on an indefinite hold only to repeat the process.  At this point i think they are in the business of stealing cars they finance for whatever reason.

WORST COMPANY.. BETTER TO NOT HAVE A CAR THEN TO FINANCE WITH THEM.  THEY WILL EAT YOUR DOWN PAYMENT AND TREAT YOU LIKE CRIMINALS AFTERWARDS,.

LETS get together and file Class Action Lawsuit about this.

Looks Like The Nail Has Been Hit!

Keep writing...we need the laughs!

Since the nail was hit perfectly and very squarely on the head, you just can't come up with an intelligent rebuttal, can you?  Yes sir...its the same old tired, immature, subprime mentality designed "you must work for them" response which is ALWAYS a dead giveaway the responses were right on target!

Then comes the typical embellishment of the story and you, the serial deadbeat.  Oh yes big time business owner, you sure have the money to pay cash for the car.  So tell us all the wisdom behind you having all this money but you choose to obligate yourself to a high interest rate loan instead of avoiding all that by just buying the car with all the cash you have on hand.

The truth is you're a serial deadbeat.  Of course, you can choose to not be a serial deadbeat right now if you wanted to.  They did their repo and will probably sue you for the rest of the loan balance.  If you've had problems making ends meet before, you just wait!  See what life is like when they garnish your wages and of course, they will attach your bank accounts to get a piece of all that money you have.

The great thing about all this is you'll get into better shape with all the walking you're going to be doing.  While you're doing that, why not write back and tell us some more things to laugh about?

“i would not have my customers running around town to make a payment”

Yea those darn mailboxes are so difficult to locate.

“i still dont know who took my car or how to get my atuff back”

What’s an ‘atuff’?

“THEY WILL EAT YOUR DOWN PAYMENT”

That’s correct. Your deposit paid for last night’s steak and lobster dinner. Thanks to the postal service for hiding all the mailboxes in Sacramento.

Already purchased a car

Imagine if you took the time to write this to actually train your staff ln customer service there wouldnt be over 200 complaints. but your response in itself is a testament of who you are. A. An employee of Lobel at which point i am not shrprised at all. B. Your some loser with nothing better to do and try to force interaction with strangers. I put my actual experience and as a business owner i would not have my customers running around town to make a payment. Read the companies glasadoor reviews or the class action lawsuit or dont. Like i said your probably some obese lonely person and for that you have my sympathy. But spend the money you spend on trolling legitimate complaints and find solutions to rectify. I am not the least bit upset about the repo but in how they have handled it all aftet the fact. After an entire day i still dont know who took my car or how to get my atuff back.

You had a month to mail them a check or you could have paid at their branch location in Sacramento. It took me about ten seconds to find the mailing address and their physical location on the web site you provided.

You were paying a subprime interest rate before the repossession. Your next rate will be beyond exorbitant. Have a nice walk.

Typical Wailing Serial Deadbeat.

You didn't pick this subprime deadbeat lender...you were placed with them because you brought to the deal a documented and verified reputation of being a deadbeat...somebody who doesn't pay their bills on time.  They took a chance on you and what happens?  In typical serial deadbeat fashion, you don't make payments to them either.  Isn't that a big surprise!  Your excuse?  You couldn't reach them???  Predatory and unfair?  Oh yes...its all their fault because it was YOU who failed to live up to the terms of the contract, in TYPICAL DEADBEAT FASHION.  Oh yes, they were supposed to tell you in advance when and where they were going to do the repo...so that you, the typical sorry, serial deadbeat would either damage or hide the car!

Yep!  Its the typical wailing of the sorry serial deadbeat and of course, its ALL their fault.
