My husband is currently in the US Army and is out of stated for several months.  He is not able to use a phone and only calls me every couple of weeks.  I called today to make his payment for his truck and they flat out REFUSED to take my payment!

I was told that they would not take my payment (which I have paid over the phone MANY times before) until my husband called them to discuss the acct.  The lady I spoke with kept placing me on hold and than came back and told me flat out that they could NOT take my payment!

When I said 'well im going to be behind on payments because you refuse my payment' they said yes and I requested a supervisor.  The girl put me on hold and came back told me the sup was on the phone and I told her that I would wait, she than refused to let me wait and sent me to the sup voice mail!

I doubt ill even get a call back!

If your husband is the only one on the account and it is not current or they don't think its current as per their records then they won't talk to you because they don't have a clue as to who you are. If there is an excellent payment record then there should be no problem explaining this to them. However, if your payment record is typical of a subprime borrower then you will have a more difficult time reaching a supervisor. I would advise you send that payment but via registered letter return receipt requested so you get that part over with and include a one page note explaining you are handling matters for your deployed husband.
