LOBEL FINANCIAL TOOK UNLAWFUL REPOSSESSION OF MY VEHICLE. MY WIFE HAD CALLED LOBEL FINANCIAL OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW THAT WE WOULD HAVE THE 168.97 PAYMENT BY OR BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH. THEY SAID PAY WHAT YOU CAN AS SOON AS YOU CAN, OK. WITHIN 1 WEEK THEY CAME IN TOOK MY TRUCK. WE ONLY OWED 493.00. WE HAVE PAID OVER 3000.00.

WE BEEN RIP OFF BADLY. I CANT GET TO WORK , DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS, STORES OR ANY WHERE. I WANT TO KNOW WHY DID THEY WAIT FOR MY LAST TWO PAYMETS TO TAKE MY VEHICLE. LOBEL SEND ME AN LETTER SAYING WITHIN 15 DAYS AT A PRIVATE SALE SOMETIME ON OR AFTER AUGUST 8,2007 THEY WILL SELL MY TRUCK.

NOW THEY WANT 818.97, CONTRACT BALANCE OF 493.97 PLUS 325.00 REPOSSESSION EXPENSE FEE"S. I ALSO WILL HAVE TO PAY THE RECOVERY TOW SERVICE.
HELP" WHAT CAN I DO TO FIGHT THIS CRIME ON ME & MY FAMILY?

Lobel sued me in court and won. I dont know how they keep getting away with it but do not let it go to court you can pay them as little as 50.00 per month to keep them from taking you to court. If they take you to court it will cost 200.00 to file a response and alot more to keep going the best thing to do is make payment arangements and keep them. Male sure you document everything and make cashier checks when you mail them payments, this will keep you out of trouble.

I had almost the same experience with this unprofessional company.
I spoke to Ricky about making a payment on my truck, I was around 30 days late on this payment. When I spoke to Ricky I told him that I was getting paid in a matter of days and if he could take a post-dated check from me, he said that he would get the approval from his supervisor which he did and took my check information. I asked him several times if I had to worry about my car being taken and he told me NO. He did advise me that even though I made a post-dated payment it would still be in the collections department until it post which is the date that the check was made out for. I still asked him if I needed to worry about my car being repo'd and he again said no. Well the next morning I leave to go to work and find my car is gone. When I called Ricky he basically said that there was nothing that he can do and I need to find out how much it will cost to get the car back. I tried to speak to a Supervisor but that really didn't make any difference at all and I was given such a bad attitude and was told that they will not release the car back to me even if I was to pay the late payment and make it current. The supervisor told me that they didn't want to do business with me anymore. The only way they will give me the truck back is by paying off the whole ammount. I couldn't believe what was I hearing. I now have no car and I work two jobs now where I get off of work after 2:30am and have to be at my primary job at 8am mon - fri. This transportation was for my son and my sisters that I had gain custody over which is the reason of being late on my payment. Before I called them with my payment they were harrassing me and my references, calling different areas in my department which one of them is a room where my bosses, students, residents and fellows work in and conduct lectures, they were even calling my bosses office which I don't think is legal. Ricky even tried to ask one of the assistants where our office was which we are not allowed to give out for security reasons and when he was asked what the visit would be regarding he told her that he needed Pediatric Imaging services, which gave her such an alarm cause there isn't such a thing that you can just go in and do. I had told Ricky that he can't do that as it was getting me in trouble at work after telling him this and telling him that I will call him during my lunch time and gave him a time frame he still called my bosses office before I went to lunch and I was in the middle of meeting with my boss. My references were very upset at the amount of phone calls especially while they are at work. They were even calling my son and questioning him and he is a minor. One of my references told me that they called her 12 times in one day. I think this company is horrible and very unprofessional. I have never felt so insulted by any company before in my life.
