Complaint Review: Local Biz USA

I noticed a bill for $34.95 plus tax of $1.05 that was being posted to our Verizon bill through ESBI under localbizusa. Long story short I called and they "verified" listing with us by playing a recording that had some girl listed as an office manager that we've never even heard of.

To make matters worse, we changed company owners/names in Aug 2004, they had someone call and notify them but it was never changed. They are supposed to be sending us a refund check next week. I'll believe it when I see it. It took over an hour of phone conversation with Local Biz to let them know that we never authorized internet listing. They even had an email address that they "created" for us, but we never had access to a password. Hopefully it didn't cost us any business. CHECK THOSE PHONE BILLS CAREFULLY!
