Local Records Office Attempt to get monies and information from my wife and I to get a copy of our deed. Atlanta Georgia
One of many letters since the purchase of our new home from a company trying to scam us into information regarding our home. This attempt was to gain $89 from us for a copy of our deed on our home. It has all of our information listed for the home, both my wife and I are listed on the letter, purchase price, so it seems legitimate. I however, took the initiative to research this because it didnt make sense and came across sites stating that this is a scam.
