First and foremost, we bought the car without warranty, but werent expecting any major issues because of the feedback we'd gotten from the salesman.

I originally purchased a used 2009 Audi with about 77k mi with my mother from the dealer in Aug.  The salesman, Austin, seemed nice, although he was misleading, but even now he's the only one that hasnt made a mockery of us.  The rep in finance, JASON, was very rude to my mother and treated her like a second class citizen, she's from Sierra Leone, but she pays her taxes and abides the laws here just like everyone else.

During the first three weeks of the purchase, we started receiving loan denial response letters, and thought maybe that was from the car dealership trying to approve us for the car loan, but we each (me & my mom) recieved letters from Northort Police Dept stating that they caught someone in custody with our personal information and if we received anything susicious to contact them.

After 2 WEEKS of driving the car to work and school, the car started stalling, and eventually after 3 weeks of driving it shut down on the middle of the road.  So I towed it to Locklear.  We hadnt even made our first payment and a major repair was needed to what we thought was a 'recently serviced' luxury sedan!  For Christs' sake, the customer service rep laughed at my mother when my mom was explaing the ordeal to her!

Locklear initially agreed to take the car back, but after their mechanics looked at it and determined it needed a timing chain, they reneged on the verbal agreement to trade the Audi and even hacked on a $100 diagnostic fee that wasnt forementioned.   They were adamantly rude with my mom.  She put alot on the line to ensure i had a reliable way to work and school.  We only chose an authorized dealership because we felt it'd be more reliable, WRONG.  So to sum it up, the car broke down before our first payment.  They agreed to take it back and trade for another vehicle, but upon a diagnostic test that determined a presummably costly repair, they reneged and tacked on a charge for the diagnostic test.

We found someone to work on the car and ended up spending close to 5k, which we didnt have.  On top of this We recently recieved a letter from locklear admitting that one of their employees was indeed the person who stole our identities.  My mother's credit score at the time of purchase was in excess of 700 now its a low 600.  The only credit purchase since January that she's made is the Audi.  Locklear in a letter stated 'regret.'  They werent even REMORSEFUL/APOLOGETIC.  This hurt my mother that all we were going through financially. That someone as reputable as locklear would treat her like she was low class, sell her a lemon, not be remorseful about it, steal her identity as well, ad not be remorseful either.

So not only did they sell us a lemon that they wouldnt take back, but they were rude, and exteremely negligent with our private personal info that another employee, who didnt even sell us the car, could have access to the info.  It turns out WE werent the only ones.

My mom, who has been an LPN for a little more than 25 years, originally told me not to write this but after finiding out about the culprit of her ID theft, she wants everyone to know, immigrants especially, that Locklear's customer service is poor, they lack intgrity and kindness that youd expect, they arent trustworthy, and you'd do alot better buying a used car elsewhere.
