Complaint Review: Locksmith 24-7 AKA Locksmith Pros

We were reeling from a burglary/robbery at our home one month ago and called these folks to come and install a deadbolt. They showed up in the evening and charged us $300 to install a deadbolt from the garage into the house. We soon realized (a few days later) that they had gouged a huge hole in the doorframe many times too large for the bolt (for the bolt to sink into)(basically -severely damaging the doorframe).. And we also came to realize that they had installed NO STRIKE PLATE for the bolt. We also had to remove the plate they had screwed into the actual door --because it was cutting into the doorframe upon opening and closing the door.

We chiseled out wood ourselves since they refused to honor any workmanship gaurantee promptly. It's been a month now, and we have called them many times since they say they gaurantee their work... There is VERY MUCH shoddy work here to repair. They almost NEVER call back (tho they promise they will) And if they DO call...they insist someone wait here at the house all day for them in case they "DECIDE" to show up-- Well... obviously they have never shown up to fix the horrible workmanship and damage they have created here. They clearly have NO intention of actually fixing ANY of this.... This company clearly is very crooked and should obviously be stopped from being allowed to harm other consumers. We have not called the BBB yet -- but we need to do so.
