Ripoff in Arizona from locksmith. I locked my keys in my car and needed help. I searched for "Scottsdale Locksmith" and several came up. I selected the one that advertised 24/7 Expert Emergency service, Fast & Affordable. On the phone they said the call would be $29. I asked if that was the cost of the call and they were vauge, but said it depends on the car. I gave them the information and they said about $50 would be the total charge for the call.

When they arrived I asked again to confirm the cost. The driver said what year and then looked shocked. This is a modern car and will be more money ios what he said. It is a 2007 model, hardly brand new at 6 years old. He said about $65. It took him about 1 minute to open the door with a slim jim tool. He asked for my card and said total including labor will be $178. He took my card rubbed it on the receipt to get an imprint and then called it in. The receipt had no company name and he scribbled some new name at the top of the page that looked like 24/7/Locksmith.

I tried to call the company back tried to talk to someone about the charge and they answered hold on and did not come back. I called three more times and the same result. I'm not even sure what the company name is because they gave me at least three different ones. I do have a website and phone number for them. Beware of these crooks.
