(I have pictures for this report, can't be shown)http://locksmith-pros.net (18883773434) charged me $1163 for their work which we agreed will only cost $310. The repair workers asked me to sign the document with no indication whatsoever that the price will be more than tripled on their initial agree-upon price. And while handling my complain, their company, locksmith-pros, is not willing to correct these employee’s misbehavior, and worse they treat it with an attitude that any respectable company will not tolerate.

I reported them on BBB, but BBB could not locate http://locksmith-pros.net  even they are still in business.

The following is what happened:

Due to concerns for my own safety, I wanted to replace all locks in my house (four locks in total) on July 9th 2017. In a hurry to do so, I found this company online, locksmith-pros.net (18883773434), without fully review their reputation and background.

Here is the record shows I called the company, http://locksmith-pros.net

Two workers then confirmed to come, their number is 951-396-5000

Upon their arrival and heard my requests and the need, the two workers agreed on charging me $310 for the work to replace all four locks, the price include labors, material and all that’s needed to get the job done

They misled me to sign a paper claiming it’s only for permission to start the work. No cost amount was mentioned on the paper. They then took my driver’s license and credit card out to their car to charge me for the work and promise to give me the receipt.

They did not produce any receipt on site despite my demand for it repeatedly, eventually they said the company will email me the receipt, but they told me that they don’t even have it, so I texted them my email address.

The more I interacted with them the more I got suspicious about the whole situation and the behavior of the two repair workers (I know I was being naive to hand them my drive license and credit card without seeing receipt on site), I then texted the guy with the following message: “As we talked 65*3+115=310. No tax no additional charges.” Again no response, so I called, they said yes that’s what we agreed on.

On July 13th, I found out a charge on my credit card account of $1163, since I do not recognize the charge and it didn’t mention their company name: http://locksmith-pros.net, I disputed it.

On July 14th, I thought it might be for http://locksmith-pros.net, called the credit card company, explained everything.

On July 19th, I called http://locksmith-pros.net, and their attitude has changed, 180 degree. I explained the whole situation and asked them to correct the mistake their contractors or employees made but they refused and claim they are not going to do anything with it even I let them know that I will take further action if they don’t correct it, they acted as if they don’t care. I felt strongly that I was scammed during the process, and was taken advantage of by the company and their employees. And they advertised their company as reputable one but use trickery to cheat on their customers.

http://locksmith-pros.net provided my signed receipt, which I never received, and they put the charge back on 8/8.

This is the receipt I finally got from my credit card company, not from them, and they filled out all the information including final charges. Again, a promised permission-to-work form, which I signed, become a blank check for the company

Being victimized, I called the credit card company again on 8/9/2017 to see if they can do something to no avail.
