Log Cabins of Gatlinburg
A few of us from work decided to take a relaxing vacation away form the stress of the office and decided on the mountains of Northeast Tennessee. We planned on staying in on of the cabins there with a gorgeous view, hot tub, the works- we arrived at this so-called cabin and immediatly upon opening the door were hit with a musty basement smell, upon entering the dwelling there was holes in the wall, spider webs on the ceiling and the best part of all roaches- we tried locating the property manager who of course was not there (he left us the key @ the office) wonder why? Finally when we did get a hold of him (Randy Slanleng) he was the rudest person I have ever met- I began telling him how I thought his cabin was unacceptable and would like a refund- all he said was you are no obligated to stay and he WAS NOT refunding our money. My husband who also went told him that we would just hire a lawyer to handle the matter and he then told us we better leave before he calls the authorities- I thought the poor old man was going to have a heart attack because we asked for a refund and complained about the unsanitary conditions his cabin was in- If you ever think of renting a cabin in the mountains- NEVER RENT FROM LOG CABINS OF GATLINBURG unless you are accustomed to roaches and nastiness.
