LogistiCare, LLC has a contract with the state of Missouri to provide Non-Emergency transportation for people who have Medicaid and no other way to get to doctor appoints, dialysis appoints and other important medical services. I have been using them for my doctor appointment rides for about 2 and 1/2 years. Until October 2012 I never had a problem. Since that date, I have had many problems with them. They have changed their policies and procedures and service providers. I have missed several appointments due to the service providers not being able to pick me up on time. The people who answer the phones at LogistiCare don't care. They talk to me like I am worthless. I have even talked to the director and he talks to me the same way. One of their providers, Moore Transportation, doesn't even have an office that I can find. They are never on time, yet the company continues to set me up with them. LogistiCare's excuse is that Moore is the most cost efficient. They don't care anymore about those of us that have to use Medicaid rides; they just care about collecting the checks from the state. Just because I have medicaid and I am poor they seem to think it is ok to do as they please. Well, it is not ok! I am not the only one who is having problems with LogistiCare. Something changed in Oct. but they refuse to tell me what changed. All I know is I can no longer trust them to get me to where I need to be on time. I hope that other people who are having problems come forward. Changes need to be made. The General Manager and the Director of Operations need to be fired. They obviously don't know how to run a business. Also, the people in the call centers need to be trained on how to treat human beings. If you have had problems, please contact the Governor of Missouri and help get the changes made. We may be poor, but we are still humans and deserve to be treated that way.
