From Lohrum's gym web site,
*Key card access only
*NO fees, NO contracts, NO sales-just fun, friendly workouts!

That is what they told me................

Key card-they charge you $20.00 and DO NOT RETURN IT.....EVER. The gym is locked from 12a-7a

No fees-so it's FREE? no they charge your credit card over $2000.00 in fees, deposits etc.

Contacts- Yes you do have to sign a contract

No sales-just fun-I was offered a happy ending to my massage for only $10.00.

Friendly workouts- Look around your on 24hr web based surveillance. A hacker recently posted pictures in a myspace account. They use a wireless system that can and is accessed by ANYONE.

High pressure sales- They conned me into supplements and I gain 50 pounds and had health problems directly caused by the supplements.

Filth- The gym should be a health hazard. They place is NEVER cleaned and all the machines are dirty and RUSTED. The rust come's from a screen rigged up and they leave the garage(use to be a auto service center and smells like it)door open.

h*o's- They run several illegal business's out of this place and toothless h*o's are always asking the gym customers for cigarettes and money.

This gym is already being boycotted by another cause. I will help by posting license plate numbers from ALL CUSTOMERS PARKED IN LOHRUM'S GYM'S PARKING LOT on this web site ASAP.

More up dates soon!

Complete Nonsense

The above comments are inaccurate in description of Lohrum's Gym, and the service and treatment I have received as a member.

1. The $20.00 you give them is a deposit on the card you use for entry between the hours of 5 am to 11pm (Their hours are slightly misleading).

2. As a member of Lohrum's Gym since November 2007 I have not been charged any additional fees other than the monthly fee of membership including sales tax.

3. You do NOT have to sign a contract, however the monthly fee is $10.00 a month higher.

-Supplements - They offer a vending machine full of them, and offer them for purchase from the office. I've never been pushed into buying a single thing, nor have I bought a single supplement.

4. Surveillance - I cannot say one way or another as to the security of the web surveillance system. However if someone is really that interested in me working out, then they are welcomed to watch me run on a treadmill for 30 minutes. It really is not a concern of mine.

5. The only machines that have rust are the elliptical machines (the rust is due to the corrosive sweat and where it lands on the machine corroding the metal). Everything else is cleaned (at least)weekly by a cleaning crew (whom I've seen on more than one occasion). You will find this at every gym as sweat corrodes even stainless steel over time.

6. The last comment is borderline slander and libel, there are no illegal buisnesses, and definately no "h*o's" at least as far as I can see.

7. If Judith S. is dumb enough to post my personal information on this website, I will subpoena this site and her ISP for her personal information.

I will then proceed have a restraining order placed against her, and inform her employer of her behavior.

The entire "Report" is built on baseless lies, slander, and libel. Treat this "customer" as you would a small child that makes noises for attention and simply ignore her.

I use the gym on a regular basis. I give it a very high rating. This gym is for the self-motivated and it is designed such. The hours are convenient and the key card grants me the access as I needed. True a $20 deposit is required. If I return the card, then my $20 is returned. The cost of the gym is appropriate and less than 25% of what was posted.

Yes, there are security cameras. They are there to protect the owners investment and the fees I've paid to the gym. Nothing would be worse than to pay a month fee only to find the equipment has been vandalized. The cameras are no more obtrusive than the hundreds of cameras that watch us every day in every store and most streets. That's just a sign of the times and if one is of good-will there should be no worries.

Gyms are not as clean a Hilton, if they were it would not be being used. By a gym's standard, it's very clean. The bathrooms are spotless, small area for lockers and shower, floors are kept clean and mirrors are polished. The equipment is kept clean.

It supports local businesses by allowing them to leave information on a stand near the door.

The owner is a very nice and knowledgeable person. He works out in the gym regularly. This insures the equipment is clean, up to date, working well.

As far as comments about activities of ill-repute. That's just silly and sound like a personal vendetta toward the owner. Those comments have no room on a site like this.
