I purchased my Jeep Rubicon from London City Chrysler in January 07! I have had several problems since the day I bought it, including 16 warrantied repair to this date. Several recalls and Technical Service Bulletin repairs generated by Chrysler, faulty paint on the door hinges, rust within the first few months of owning it, leaking hard and soft tops as well as a repair that was FULL FAULT of the repair person. I had a linkage repaired and the Technician that did the work left a light attached to the drive shaft causing additional damage that had to again be repaired. When the paint was repaired it was not done properly and the problem returned within 6 months.

Finally on the 7th of December 2008 after discovering a leak in the front axle and reporting it to London City Chrysler, the front axle snapped while at the Grocery Store. London City has flagged my warranty and refuses to do any further power train repairs on my vehicle. They are claiming abuse. By flagging my warranty the jeep that should be covered up to 100000km on the power train and 60000 on the bumper to bumper is no longer covered for anything! My jeep has a little over 53000 KM on it and now I have a Jeep that I am making new car payments on with no new car benefits.

The only reason I have been told is abuse. The dealership will not talk to my husband and explain further. Employees of London City Chrysler have gone on a public forum and have claimed that we are lying about the way the break happened. I have a receipt from the store from the purchase I made, and a documented call from my residence to Roadside assistance within 30 minutes of the break happening.

I have been approached by several other dealers who are willing to do the repair if the restrictions are lifted, verifying that this should never have happened from normal driving.

This is my primary vehicle, that I purchased in good faith from London City Chrysler, it is my 3rd purchase in less than 4 years.

We purchased the Rubicon Model due to it's unrivaled off road capabilities, and the warranty associated with it.

I now have a broken Jeep sitting in my driveway that I cannot drive and have no warranty to repair it.
