Be warned! Do not buy or lease your truck from lone mountain/cresco capital. You will regret it. This has been my experience so far. I went on their website and applied  in july 2013 because a recruiter from forward air recommended them. I got a phone call from a sales lady in august congratulating me that I was approved and did I know which truck I wanted to put my down payment on. I told her I was debating between the freightliner cascadia and the kenworths t660. She told me the kenworths had sold out so I put my money on the cascadia. Two weeks later she called me back saying they were getting more kenworths in 2 weeks. I told her to switch my downpayment to the kenworth and she did for an extra 620 $. I went to pacific junction iowa to get the kenworth on sept 19. Had it inspected at interstate power systems and it tested at 88% so I thought this would be a good truck...how wrong I was. It had several issues that will never show up on a dyno test or even a dot inspection: the wires for the AC inside the dash had been cut, the heater control valve was unplugged so the truck had no air! Thats right no heat, no AC so basically undrivable. The drive shaft was loose, this was discovered during a more rigorous inspection at forward air and it also had a power divider leak. Wait, theres more: the APU unit on the truck did not work. I called lone mountain and my call was immediately routed to an account manager over at cresco capital who basically scoffed at my problems and told me I wad dumb for signing the lease in the first place. This is how they are. If you call them to complain they make fun of you bc you are the one supposed to notice everything thats wrong with the truck in the few hours that they give you to inspect the truck. I told them I bought the truck in good faith assuming everything was in good working order. I had to fix all the problems using my own money. Several months later in april the AC on this truck went out again. I am not going to fix it. I have already fixed the turbo in december, the exhaust leak in january and the coolant leak in march. Every month is a different repair, I have not gone a single month since buying the truck in september without having to fix this or that. I feel like I have way overpayed for this truck, for 66000 I could get a much better newer truck.
