Complaint Review: Lone Star Barns

Deborah Brown, d/b/a Lone Star Barns represented their dog kennels panels as 6 ft by 6 ft.  She required payment in full upfront by cashiers check and would not accept credit cards.  Now I know why.  When the kennel panels were delivered, they were 6 ft by 5 ft.  I communicated with Ms. Brown for over a year for resolution.  Such communications were frequently sandbagged for one excuse after another.

Finally, I offered in compromise to return only four gate panels and keep the remaining short panels to which Ms. Brown ultimately agreed to accept the return of the gate panels and refund the cost of same.  I have never received any monies and Ms. Brown has the panels I returned.  All communications initiated by me have gone unanswered and unresolved.

This company and individual has a reputation of bad business, sloppy installations, and evasive actions in their operations.

Ms. Brown has since moved her primary operations to Montana (no city is given or disclosed), leaving minimal operations on their original site in Canyon Texas.  And for good reason - complaints and civil suits were accumulating, keeping the Constable and Sheriff offices in Randall County Texas very busy trying to serve the numerous suits and writs.

I strongly warn anyone shopping for horse barns, corrals, dog kenels, or other structures to avoid doing business with her.
