Lone Star Engine Installtion ripoff, theft of parts, charged for unneccessary work, liars, cheaters, not quality work, damage to vehicles Dallas Texas
Lone Star Engine Installers at 305 S. Carroll Ave in Dallas, Tx was hired to remove and replace the engine in my ford f150 p/u truck. From the very 1st day, parts were missing from the vehicle and work that was not required was reported as needing to be done. At this time, the business admitted that the parts were "probably" stolen while the vehicle was in their possesion.
It is very difficult to communicate with the employees at Lone Star Engine Installation, because most of them speak little or no English.
After being quoted $1400.00 plus a small towing fee, the bill was raised to almost $2,000.00.
The police were contacted and went to the business to make a report.
At this time we do not know the extent of the damages that were caused by this facility, but expect to have to have the work re-done by a professional. We expect that Major damage was done to the engine that we will not discover until more problems arise.
We do know that we will never never NEVER! reccommend this company to anyone and hope that they will be put out of business as soon as possible.
