I had a young lady by the name of Deanna show up and sell me magazine subscriptions. I ordered Readers Digest (large print) and House and Garden. After what I thought was a lengthy time and no magazines, I called Lone Star asking where my magazines were. I was told to wait the 90 to 120 days. After the end of my 120 days was up and no magazines, I called yet again. I was told that they had the information needed and they were working on it. I then get a letter from them telling me that there was no need for me to further contact them and they had it taken care of it. I did finally get the Readers Digest (small print none the less) and have yet to get the House and Garden Magazine. I call every day. All I get is the voice mail. I leave message after message and they have yet to call me. Take into consideration that the date on the receipt is "7/25/2007" Keep in mind that todays date is "6/03/2008". Almost a year from the date I ordered from this group of scam artists. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will continue to report and file to whomever I need to get my magazines "AND" a refund because of all the aggravation and annoyance I have had to endure. I will also continue to call Lone Star Subscriptions aka CRS, Inc. and also C/O LSS, Inc. I will call every day!!! Anyone else have any ideas what other steps can be taken to shut these scammers and B.S.ers
