Complaint Review: lone star towing corpus christi

My boyfriends car was towed from my apartment complex on 12/24/2015. We had the money we called. I spoke wth a lady and she said they would be there. Several things, you have to have insurance, well we had insurance but we were not sure if it just had expired. s So i told the lady that, she said do you have the title, i sad yes. Is it in your name, I said no. She said bring the owner in and he can take it out wth out the insurance.

Of coarse I quickly got on the phone and called the owner of car and he came over later that day.. It was around 2 pm.. I called the towing place back and a man answered. I asked him where they were located, he said they were closed. I told him right away , I just spoke with a lady and she told you guys are open all day, he said well if were slow we can close.. I told him thats not right, he started telling me to shut my mouth , if i want him to help me I need to stop talking and listen to him.. all i was saying is , Sir its xmas eve. i need the car plesae.

Then he said well do u ahve insurance on car, I said Im not sure , I dont remember when it came due.. he said well I cant give u car . I told him the lady that works there told me that I didnt need it as long as i had the owner of car go . He said if he went back he was going to charge me extra and if our insurance was expired he was still not going to let us take the car.. Then he told me they were closed for xmas day. I till this day dont have my car. its a total of $816.15.

I feel they should not charge me the 2 days that one say they cloded early then for xmas , cause no where in the lot did it say they were going to be closed!!!

all in all they are shady , they knew that they were going to close early and they didnt say anything and then they knew that they were going to b closed for xmas and now they can charge people more,. also they say that they sent a certified letter but they didnt the owner says he would of told us if they sent him something,. this car is not just a car to us,  it was the owners ex wife's car who recently passed in June.. She drowned,

We just wnt the car back and due to our finances , it has been a real struggle, my boyfriend does all he can for me and my son who has special needs.

LoneStar towing, you are crooked as snakes.. you prey on those who cant do much or have much. I will make sure everyone knows what kind of a company this is .. according to several sites They had an F rating.. now i know why.
