I purchased a car from this lonestarclassicmotors on ebay.com. The car was misrepresented in many ways.

 The listing stated:

New convertible top just done, nice paint, super clean interior all over, original 283 that runs perfect with great pickup and excellent acceleration!! Chrome and trim in good condition front to back. Clean car all over.  Great convertible that is ready go!! Please see more pictures on our website....lonestarclassicmotors.com

1) The convertible top has tears in it and is coming apart at the seams.

2) The paint work has bubbles, pits, scratches, gouges and cracks in it.

3) The interior while not being too bad has broken, dirty and non-functioning items.

4) Chrome and trim is scratched, rusty, pitted, damaged with paint overspray, dents and bends.

5) It was stated clean car all over but the car has MAJOR rust damage making it unsafe to drive. Did I say MAJOR? The quarter panel on the passenger side flaps loose in the wind and the passenger A pillar is almost completely gone where it meets the cowl. This is a convertible. The only thing holding the windshield in is the 2 A pillars around the glass.

6) The tires and rims are incorrect for the car and both back tires rub the quarter panel wheel lips. The lips have been pounded in and are a mess but they still rub the tires.

7) Listing states: Great convertible that is ready go!! This is far from the truth. The car has absolutely no wiring in the back half of the car. No brake lights, tail lights, turn signals, backup lights, marker lights or fuel sending unit. Everything is missing. It does not have lamps or sockets, nothing. These items make it illegal to drive on the street and certainly not ready to go.

The Ebay.com listing directed me to see more pics and info on their website, lonestarclassicmotors.com. This listing also states: New convertible top just redone, nice paint and interior, Power top works well (which it does not have), and also states car is READY TO GO. Mileage 50,433. (None of which were true)

I bid on this car and won it on ebay.com based on the listing info. This car was misrepresented. The listings have over 50 pics in them and not one shows the severe damage this car has or the missing parts making it not road worthy.

I was misled by the seller and his listing as to the road worthiness and condition of this car.

I am a 57 year old disabled veteran that had major back surgery (service connected) in 2014 (3 disks dissected and 4 vertebrae fused in my spine). I have saved to buy this car, my childhood dream for years only to be tricked into buying a car I can't drive or fix.

Car was paid for using a bank wire transfer. Amount sent was $16,500 and $550 shipping costs. Total investment so far is $17,050.

I have sent multiple emails but the business has not responded. I have called my contacts phone numbers (two) and he has not answered them. I sent a text message to the two phone numbers that my contact gave me asking that he let me know when I call so that I can speak with him about the car. He responded on 9/20/2016 with tomorrow. I called him twice on 9/21/2016 and he does not answer my calls. I have left voice mail messages and email messages saying the problems and that I want to return the car and get my money back. Seller has chosen not to resond.
