Hello,

I had an encounter with a Mike from this Lonestar Subscriptions, Inc. They came to my door and suckered my fiance, Ryan into ordering an ESPN subscription for $40.

We wrote them a check and they gave us a receipt and on their way they went. I decided to call the "customer service" phone number to see if this was legit or not and the man that answered the phone at that number had not a clue who this company was.

Ryan tracked them down at the next house and told them he changed his mind and that he wanted his check back. Mike then said I cant give it back to you I already called it into the company. Ryan then asked him to call the company and cancel it. Mike told him the company was now closed.

I then walked down there to talk to them and let them know that the phone number they gave me was false and that I wanted my check back. Mike then told me that he would go to jail if he gave me my check back. He then got "the owner of the company, Randy" on the phone.

He had me speak to this Randy and I politely told them alls I wanted was to get my check back and be done with this. Randy told them to give me my check and they began to walk away. As they continued to walk away they yelled out and called me a w***e and took off running. I am going today to get my account numbers changed just incase they try to pull anything.
