I traded a vehicle that LBAC held the note. In the state of Missouri you have 30 days to register a new vehicle. Long Beach Acceptance will not release the title to the "old" paid off vehicle until 20 days AFTER receipt of payment of the outstanding balance. I have filed a complaint with the BBB asking LBAC to re-imburse me for any penalties that will be incurred once I am finally able to register my new vehicle.

My advice to anyone who may purchase a new vehicle if the finance company is LBAC - run do not walk out of the dealership you are working with, by the way get your "trade in" back before you leave. Don't let the dealership "put you off".

From LBAC they agreed to pay reimburse me for the penalty. Only after they noticed I filed this report, had contacted the BBB as well as contacting the president Steven Prough.
