This company called our business on 2-11-11 and said they were with AT&T and that there was an "internal mixup" in our billing and that they had to change it back to the way it was before....Our office assistant believe them and they ended up switching our long distance serving which doubled our bill, and caused us to lose a whole day of service (we are a business!) waiting for the service to be switched back to AT&T. 

I called the customer service dept. after I straightened all of this out with AT&T, and was told that they do not train their employees to misrepresent...but I don't believe it.

They are scumbags.  AT&T told me that a good way to avoid these types of scams, is to ask the caller what the amount of your last phone bill was...no one but your carrier will know that.
