LONGHORN WRECKER ILLEGAL TOWING ARLINGTON Texas
Longhorn Wrecker in Arlington Tx Illegally towed my car. I was at my friends house, in a low grade apartment community, parked in the visitor section. I have a nice 2013 ES350 Lexus and I honestly believe they targeted my car, since its nice, and it was backed into the parking spot. Fast easy money for them to take my car and say beacuse i did not have a resident sticker! why would i have a resident sticker when i dont live there!!!! insane that this company would illegally tow my car, just to make a quick buck off on someone who has a nice car, in a bad neighborhood. It cost me $300 to get my car back!!!!
My friend asked others that lived there and they said that the apartment complex and the towing company have a deal that if they tow off of the property they would split the fee with them 50/50!!!!!!
I AM FURIOUS AND UPSET, IT'S XMAS TIME AND THESE PEOPLE JUST RIPPED OFF THE WRONG MAMA! YOU DONT TAKE AWAY FROM KIDS AND THEIR XMAS GIFTS!!!

If you were towed by Longhorn, your in luck!
Over the past 3 months, Longhorn has been losing in Court due to illegal towing signs posted and in 29 cases, the property management company was found guilty in Court before a jury of committing statutory violations.
Go get photos of the towing signs posted, for a better idea of the photos you need, go here.
I recommend you retain NorredLaw to recover this money from the apartment complex, as has everyone else who was towed by Longhorn Wrecker Service.

as i mentioned before, this is a low grade apartment community!! yes they targeted my car b/c it was nice, in the hood! now if i need to get technical for you to understand then i will. my sister parked in the same area as me, two cars down and she didnt get towed! the reason for the towing was b/c i did not have a resident sticker!!!!! why would i have a sticker and i dont live there!!!??? it wasnt b/c i parked in someone else's spot, i was parked in the vistor section, backed in! and it's not against the law in texas to back into a parking spot. this is a bad neighborhood and these towing companies are just looking to make a quick buck off of people by illegally towing their cars. yes my nice car was targeted, they knew the owner would fly down there to pick it up. in that neighborhood, those people cant afford to get their cars out of the pound, that's why they had a ton of junk cars in the back!! anyways, you dont have to agree with me, i know what happened and i did file a compaint and provided pictures of where i was parked so i could get my money back!!

and it was legally parked, call your states department that regulates the towing industry. I agree with the previous poster that it had NOTHING to do with your "impressive" car.
My CADILLAC has NEVER been towed. Must be it's not as nice as YOUR 2013 Lexus ES350.

In my area if you back into a parking space, rather than parking forward, your car will be towed. In fact, in most communities it is the same thing, no backing into a parking space. Is it possible your vehicle was towed because you backed into the space? I find it difficult to believe they towed your vehicle due to its make or model.
