Complaint Review: Longwell Textile Fabrics Inc.

Contacted by someone calling himself Daniel Rogers from the UK. I guess he saw that I had been looking on-line for work!
Congratulations, he said. After reviewing my application, I'd been selected to represent his company from the U.S. He would be sending me checks from the UK in my name via Fed Ex. I was to cash them, keep 10% commission for myself, then forward the balance to a person in the UK via Western Union.
Mitchelle Stephen was the name of the person in the UK. to whom the money was sent.
Needless to say, the check was bogus.
Subsequently, my checking account was frozen and ultimately closed.
As I'm writing this, I can't believe I fell for something so obviously fraudulent!
This all happened two weeks before Xmas. Thank goodness I purchased presents for my grandchildren first.
