Longwood Industries refused to refund money as per agreement Bedford Virginia
After seeing an ad we placed on craigslist to sell our car, longwood industries contacted us about placing a paid ad with them. They promised we would sell our car within 60 days or our money would be refunded. We placed our add on 1/7/2008 and uploaded photos for them as requested. The photo upload required a pin number and a customer number which we were told we would recieve via email. When we did not recieve it we called and got the information, at which point they said they would send us an email with that information right away. We were also told we would recieve our receipt via US mail. We never received either. We had a 60 day money back guarantee per the sales rep. Chris. After several months of not even recieving any calls on our car or any follow up with longwood industries we called to get our money back. We were told it was not an option because we did not return the papers with the receipt that we never got via US mail. I explained to the person on the phone (Mitzi of customer service) that we had never received the receipt so how would we know that. She informed us that was not her problem as they sent it so basically to bad to sad. I asked to speak to her supervisor which she said no to. I asked for a name of her supervisor which she refused to give me. I asked if there were forms in the mail the supposably sent me that she says needed to be notorized if they had sent the mail return receipt or certified which of course she said no to. So to end this story we paid 150.00 and got no calls on our car, no communication from Longwood and no money back. This is a scam!
