Longwood Industries scam, fraud, worthless, scum, scamming the elderly Roanoke Virginia
These people called an elderly customer of mine (i work for a newspaper) and told them that for $99.99 they would guarantee a sale for him in just 30 days or his money back. The same day that my customer placed the ad, he sold his RV. I called and they refused to refund unless he sent a picture in. Why would we send in a picture when it's sold? Supposedly their manager is "Terry". Please call and ask for "Terry" (doesn't really exist). They have no idea when their "manager" will be in. We need to take a stand against this company.

Full disclosure happens before payment is accepted

Every one of our reps explains the photo policy up front, before we ever accept payment. We require that a photo be submitted within the first 14 days. The customer here agreed to that requirement before we charged his credit card.
This policy is fully disclosed not only verbally by our phone reps, but by mail, on the receipt we mail out to each customer, and both on the website and by e-mail (if the customer has internet access)
To claim we're ripping the customer off because they're refusing to comply with the agreement they accepted when they placed their ad is disingenuous, to say the least.
