lootwowgold I gave them $35.00 for gaming gear. They said I gave them the wrong "realm" and they refused to make it right, give money back, or give me the gear.
The scam consists of them telling YOU where they should send it, saying "Aegwynn-Alliance," right? Over and over. If you are a new player and don't know the game well, you tend to think they know more of what they're talking about than you do. (The game is very involved and complicated.) I told him the second time he asked (and he kept repeating himself. I believe to see whether he had me or not..) that I know I'm Alliance but I'm not sure about the Aegwynn part. He didn't explain ANYTHING to me. Just kept repeating "Aegwynn-Alliance," right?
I buy items from the World of Warcraft store right in-game and they never ask anything but the player name and the stuff is then delivered to the character's in-game mailbox. Simple. Considering the rule is one name, one mailbox. The game requires no duplicate names. They never say a word about realm and I had no Idea that mattered.
After the 'gotcha" moment, the person tried to tell me that I should eat half the cost, but REFUSED to show me how he was out anything. They have yet to return my money OR send me the items I paid good money for. I would describe that as a ripoff.
