I answered an ad in the newspaper years back for modeling, she made it sound so great so I went to meet her and signed a contract with her. She booked me in to have my pictures done which cost me $595.00. The photographer was an amateur and the same with the makeup artist. The only job I ever did wasn't even a real job. We worked with other photograpers and the shots were supposedly going to be in Wedding Bells magazine. Never Saw Them...at all!! She also posted my pictures on the internet(her website) without my consent and I was under the age of 19. She is a scam artist and i don't expect to get any money back, I just want everyone else to beware of this lady. I know she was being sued by other models because I saw it on the news. DO NON'T ANSWER MODELING ADS IN THE NEWSPAPER BECAUSE ALL THEY DO IS TAKE YOUR MONEY!! Vanessa St. Catharines, Ontario

TO ALL PEOPLE THAT SEEM TO BE UPSET WITH A COMPANY THAT NO LONGER EXISTS..... modelling/acting is NOT a 'guaranteed' or a 'sure' thing!!! You're all entering the world of the unknown and to blame someone for your own dreams not transpiring is truly shameful!!!! WAKE UP!! It's NOT agents that are to blame for you not getting work! It's the companies that do not want to work with you or your kids!!
The GIRL that had her photos done didn't mention that she DID INDEED RECEIVE THEM....SHE DIDN'T MENTION THAT the photographers were NOT amateur - Dan Banko AND THAT SHE DIDN'T APPEAR IN WEDDING BELLS because SHE RUINED THE DRESS!!!!! WHAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS ARE DOING IS TRULY DISGRACEFUL, BUT OMITTING THE TRUTH of what REALLY happened!!!
People work and people don't - blaming someone is easy BUT looking in the mirror at one's own shortcomings....that's more difficult!!!
WHAT about agencies running radio ads, etc....???
good luck and be proud of blaming someone other than yourselves!!! I've had a good experience .... but, perhaps, this may not get posted, as it seems only slander gets posted!!! Did anyone ever research the owner of the 'ripoff report'???

First off Lorainne I find it funny that every single person I Have talked to that is signed to your agency has a problem with you.
I don't doubt that you have every good intention in getting these people jobs but at least let them know you don't have the reputation nor means to get them the jobs ...

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
We are responding to this ridiculous complaint made by a girl that was represented by over 5 years ago.
It's funny how people like to claim 'victim' status when their 'dream' doesn't transpire, yet, we NEVER made any promises to this person.
Vanessa was to AUDITION for the magazine, Wedding Bells. The photographer we sent her to was not an amateur. His name is Daniel Banko of Banko Photographic and he was interested in using this girl for the magazine, as he was in charge of the shoot. Vanessa RUINED the wedding dress! Does she mention this in her complaint? Of course not! Was she guaranteed the layout?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Again, OUR clients will decide who they wish to work with and they did not choose to work with this person.
Vanessa seems to be upset since she didn't land the layout; however, we cannot perform miracles and we do not decide who is chosen for an assignment!
Blaming other people is easy; however, taking a good look at oneself is where the difficulty lies.
