In the past few months this HSBC Ameritech has shown up in the mail threatening me. I've never had an account with these two together, and certainly not recently or in the area of 16k! These people are threatening recipients into submission and I won't have it. I'm working so hard on improving my credit and this comes all of a sudden? Ameritech is old business and decades ago they were payed in full. I want justice.

Capital Security Specialists, LLC is a legitimate company registered with the Secretary of State, corporations division in NH. We use legal means to acquire delinquent assets (accounts, receivables) and send them to registered, licensed and reputable collection agencies or attorneys for litigation.
Due to FDCPA and other Federal law, it would be illegal to disclose information about your specific matter. However, i can attest to the fact this matter is not 40 years old and HSBC bank did have Mastercard accounts with the brand name Ameritech. Many of those accounts are still open, active and serviced by HSBC. I can also attest to the fact that Capital Security Specialists only acquires accounts that are still within the Statue of Limitations.
Also, you stated " Ameritech is old business and decades ago they were payed in full ". Which is an admission of having an account and stating you thought they were paid.
Per your rights as a consumer if you dispute a portion or the entire account there are means to send in your dispute. This most certainly is not the correct forum to discuss your personal account or information.
