This Very Bad Experience And Rating Is Only Related To Andrea Martinez, The Mediator And Not On The Department Personally Speaking!     Back on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 8:30 a.m., I had a Small Claims Court Case against Airbnb and as soon as they ordered the plaintiffs and defendants to go outside to Exchange Evidence, this woman named "Andrea Martinez" comes out with us and Gets Right Between Us and does NOT allow us to exchange evidence, but instead Demands Us To Mediate With Her.   However, as soon as I asked a question to the Defendant, Ms. Andrea Martinez got angry and offended and she told ME that she is going to have the Bailiff Remove ME From The Courtroom For Raising My Voice which was Not True At All!   I was extremely angry, pissed off and offended over her Wrongful and False Accusations Against ME that I immediately went over to the Los Angeles County Consumer & Business Affairs Office located at:  500 West Temple Street  Room #B-96, Los Angeles, California  90012 and filed a Very Serious Complaint with Ms. Maritza Gutierrez, Consumer Affairs Supervisor and was told to publish Negative Reviews about this horrific experience in which I am doing Right Now As I Speak!   After I spoke with Ms. Maritza Gutierrez, Consumer Affairs Supervisor, I then went back to the courtroom and spoke with the Sheriff who was monitoring that specific room to explain to him what had happened and then I went back inside to be heard by the temporary judge.   Regardless, the Defendant did Not Even Want Mediation To Begin With and I personally Can Not Understand Why Ms. Andrea Martinez, The Mediator Pushed Herself On To Us Aggressively And Almost Immediately Following Leaving The Courtroom To Exchange Evidence!   I will Not allow myself to be abused, bullied or threatened from anybody in any way, method or capacity for doing absolutely Nothing Wrong!   Once Again, This Negative Review Is Going 100% Percent Against Ms. Andrea Martinez, the Mediator and Not The Los Angeles County Department Of Consumer And Business Affairs Itself, but she in turn represents them.   Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

Clarification

But I should add that here on the East End of Long Island. They have the monopoly.  So if you wanted to go with Verizon Fios. You're S.O.L.  Well, there should be clarification.  The FCC allows these monopolies to exist for a variety of reasons - the most important being that once the monopoly is issued, the cable company is then on the hook for all costs to cable to get to your area - whether the cable travels via telephone poles, or underground.  If the cable has to travel underground, the amount of the expense is huge, so there has to be a period of time in which the cable company is allowed to recoup the cost of running the cable underground.  It is all legal and you are forced to deal with them.

However, that doesn't mean you couldn't get Fios if you wanted to.  In fact, there are people who have both Cable and Fios - for different reasons.  Fios is not cable so they're not subject to restrictions from the monopoly; Fios requires an internet connection and someone who knows what they're doing to perform the hookup because Fios isn't all that easy to hook up if you've had cable in the past, or present.  I did a quick lookup and Fios has coverage on Long Island; I would call Fios and see what they say before you write off Fios as SOL.

One more thing - pay your bill before the due date.  Not within the grace period before cutoff.  Before.  Verizon is far worse on cutting you off if you're late.

Best of luck to you....
