Los Angeles Harley Davidson of Anaheim (located in Fullerton) had agreed to host and co-sponsor a charity fundraiser on October 10, 2015 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to benefit the  Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

I had agreed to be one of the many volunteers to help with this important event because I have someone very close to me that is a breast cancer survivor, so I had made plans to drive over from Arizona to help make this important event a success.

I was amazed at the participants that the event planners had been able to line up for this fund-raiser. There were live performers set up (an all-girl internationally known band named "Saga Strings"), Playboy's Miss October 2015, Hells Belles and others.  Many others were contributing goods and services to the event, because they too had experienced this terrible affliction in their family and are supporters of the search for breast cancer causes and cures.

I was informed (along with all the other volunteers) that Los Angeles Harley Davidson of Anaheim cancelled this event for no good or justifiable reason, just (3) days prior, on Wednesday, October 7th.  As a volunteer in events like this before, I know there were deposits and financial commitments made. I also learned that the Breast Cancer Research Foundation itself put out money to create a promotional video for the event.

The event had been promoted via social media and a nice web-site and it was my understanding that hundreds of people were planning on attending.

The people running this dealership basically ripped off one of the top-rated cancer charities in the country, the planners and vendors for this event, as well as the dozens of volunteers who had put time and there own money into the preparation for it.  They also ripped off the members of the community who wholehaertedly support this cause, by denying them a professionally-produced event to raise awareness and money for a cause dear to thir hearts.

I am writing this to express my utter discust and distain for the management and owners of this Harley Davison Dealership because of the unprofessional and unethical behavior they have demonstrated along with a total lack of concern for the ramifications of their last minute antics and cancellation. I don't think the CEO of Harley Davidson would be very pleased with this kind of behavior being associated with their Brand........

Anyone thinking of doing business with the dealership in the future should have second thoughts about it. If keeping your word and committment to an important charity means so little to them, then how will they treat you as a customer?
