In February, 2009 I received a letter from Loss Mitigation Services indicating that they had contacted my mortgage company and they could refinance my loan.  I was out of work for 8 months with breast cancer and was in fear of losing my home.  They asked for copies of all my bills/account numbers and a payment of $3,600.  When I asked what this was for they said it was for title search and the usual paperwork costs.  I called them weekly and always got a busy signal.  I sent an e-mail to the lady (Hilda) that asked for my paperwork and got the standard answer that they were working on my loan with my lender.

I received two letters from them one with contact information and one letter saying the authorization request had been set to my lender.  Months went by and I never heard from them I kept calling and sending e-mails with no answer, so I sent a e-mail and demanded my money back.  I contacted my lender and they said they were never contacted by Mr. Jonathan Bourquardez, the attorney that I was told that was assigned to my account.  I have since contacted someone else and my loan modification was taken care of in three days.

Lately, I have been receiving e-mails saying that the e-mail address I have for Johnathan Bourquardez is undeliverable.  I am a single mother battling cancer and due to have two more surgeries and could use that $3,600 to get caught up with my bills.  I would never recommend this company, but you know I thought I was a smart person the letterhead, forms, looked official, they even gave me their bank account number to deposit the $3,600 into.
