I received an "Award Claim Final Notification" by mail just yesterday--a notice filled with telephone numbers and claim numbers--it was very official looking. However, after already having been a victim of identity theft, I was very sure that this was just a scam.
A quick search on the internet revealed that the lottery drawing from which I supposedly won had entirely different numbers.

Then I found this website which confirmed that this was a scam. It is interesting that my notification was received by mail, not email--postmarked and paid in Malaga, Spain.

After this research, I knew what was going on, and did not bother to make any calls to this organization (I'm not wasting my money on an international call!) But I will make a point of emailing my friends and family about this one.
