Lotiontown.com restocking, never shipped item, fake phone number Indianapolis Indiana
They sent me a tracking number that didn't work. When I tried to call them 8 days after my purchase to find out the status of my order, I discovered that the number on their website does not work.
I sent them two emails within 3 days with no answer. I told them that I was going to have to dispute the charges with my bank if I didn't hear back from them within 24 hours.
I finally got a response from a woman by the name of Kylie Went. She said that it was "no problem". She already cancelled my order and would only charge a 25% restocking fee.
I told her that this was illegal, because I never asked that she cancelled my order. She then sent me a snotty reply saying, "You said you'd dispute the charges. What am I supposed to think?".
I told her that I work for a law firm, and I'd be happy to have one of our attorneys contact her if she didn't give me a full refund including shipping. I never heard from her again.
I've since found several similar stories, and discovered that there was even a class-action lawsuit against them at one time. I think they make a practice of not shipping the items, and then when the customer gets frustrated and wants to cancel, they charge a 25% restocking fee.
This business needs to be shut down.
