I was scammed from a canadian company called Revco Data Products out of several thousand dollars stating I won a lottery of 45,000 and in order to get the $45k they would send me a check for $4776 which I was to cash and moneygram to a John Hall in attire, London, Canada.

I then received an email from Lottery Technical Committee in Madrid, Spain stating they know people were fraudulently contacted about a lottery and that they would pay out the lottery I was supposed to have won in Canada and aske me to fill out 10 pages of documents asking for personal information which I did not fill out and also send euro1887 which equates to $2405 USD.

Today I have received an email from Euro-Afro-American lottery stating I won 1.2 million dollars and to send an email to dv2005@winning.com and this email came from Mr Alexandra Davies of the United Kingdom. At this point I am not sure if this is a scam but feel very strongly that it is.

ALL lottery e-mails, mails, calls ARE scam

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sun, May 28, 2006

Please, be absolutely sure that ANY mail/call/e-mail about winning lottery IS scam.

Are you familiar with the American lottery system? You buy a ticket, pick numbers, with for the draw, THEN YOU claim the prize. To fill out claim is FREE. Lottery authorities never contact the winners.

All the legal lotteries of the world are similar. There is NO way you win anything without having a PAID lottery ticket.

Even if YOU DO play legal foreign lottery, YOU are the one who have to start the claim process. NOBODY will contact you.

NEVER ever pay to claim any prize, and NEVER ever try to cash any check from unknown sources. NOT even if it is a valid check. (It will be unvalidated very soon after you cashed it.)
