Thirty days ago we were in the market for a second vehicle and we passed by a tent sale at Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, GA.

Lou Sobh GMC, Pontiac, Buick of Conyers,GA was holding the used car tent sale. We saw a 1999 Mazda B2500 truck that we liked and then we took a test drive.

We were very interested in the truck and wanted to take it to our local bank and get financing. The used car salesman Fred and the Used car Manager Tom were happy to ablidge.

We returned to the dealership the following Monday and wanted to finance with the dealership's lender instead of our own bank due to the fact that we did have some credit "glitches" we could not go with our hometown bank. They were happy to help.

They advised that they work to help customers with "not so perfect" credit all the time.

They told us we were approved by one of their lenders; took our $1,500 down payment and then worked up a sales contract.

We signed all documents and were on our way home with our new truck.

After having the truck in our posession for 29 days we got a call from Tom (Used car Manager) telling us (in a very unprofessional "hateful" manner) that we needed to either give them an additional $1,800 or the deal is null and we must return the truck.

We were caught totally by surprise and dumbfounded! We told them there was no way that we were giving them more money so, we would return the truck and expect a full refund of our $1,500 down payment.

These guys are CROOKS to say the least! If anyone out there has any advice or could help us --- please reply asap.

This is just wrong!

Check out the rest of the reports on this site one is under Arizona and brings up numerous dealers Lou Sobh included. He does shady stuff in Arizona as well. He is probably considered a minority businessman and uses your tax dollars to cheat you with low/and or no interest loans that Bush cronies help him obtain. Something for all of us to think about isn't it cheated by a man using your tax dollars. I hope that you were able to purchase a new vehicle somewhere else.
