Complaint Review: Louise Page Makeup

Louise Page is a grade A liar. 

In October last year she was discovered to be using stolen images in her portfolio, lying about clients on her resum and had a completely made up show reel. She stole from makeup artists but also huge Estee Lauder campaign images and claimed them as her own.

Alongside this "celebrity makeup artist" scam she had going, she also ran a school. She charged students including myself thousands of pounds under the pretence that we were being taught by an "in demand, highly regarded celebrity makeup artist" when in fact we were being taught by a pathological liar who never picked up a brush for the entire time I was there. 

She would get guest artists to come in and teach the classes that needed demonstrations. On the days she did show up she was late with excuses such as "Oh sorry I am late I have just been on Daybreak this morning and I am exhausted!" Which I now know to be false. 

Do not hand over any money to this woman. She has never and will never be a makeup artist. I have learnt the hard way and lost thousands of pounds I can never get back.  Someone told me her "school" has been bought by the Nouveau Beauty Group in the UK so maybe now it will actually be a real school with real professionals.
