Complaint Review: Love Beal Nixon- Midland Credit Management.

My husband recently got served with court papers over a debt through Midland Credit Management and the lawyer that its going through is Love Beal and Nixon. This completely Blindsided us. We asked for validation of this debt and all we got is the original Creditor, the original account number and the date it was opened. We know that we didn't open that account,

so we asked for a copy of the original contract, because at the time, my husband had a fraud alert on his account, due to his mother opening credit card accounts under his name. We called the original creditor and they have no knowledge of this account. We called the lawyers(LBN), couldn't get a hold of them, we called again. still nothing, so we sent them a certified letter, still we got nothing. well today we received a letter that we didn't understand, At All.

It was something about their findings and they wanted us to respond to that. Well that wasn't what we asked for to begin with. When we called to ask them what it was and why we haven't received a copy of the original contract, the secretary told us, What we got was all that they are required to give us. Please correct me if you think that what we asked them for was completely off-base cause we aren't getting anywhere with them and we can't afford an attorney.

If anyone has any suggestions please tell us cause we can't take it anymore. They have already ruined my husbands Credit. Just last year we got approved for a home loan and now we can't even get enough credit for a target card.
