Love, Beal & Nixon ripoff failed to serve papers in person as was stated in court records Oklahoma City Oklahoma
I am going through the same collection process as everyone else is. I just found out that a default judgment was handed down to myself by the court, I was not served papers in person or at my residence, the court report said that I was served personally at my residence.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do?

what the law says

If a summons and petition are served by personal delivery, the person serving the summons shall state on the copy that is left with the person served the date that service is made. This provision is not jurisdictional, but if the failure to comply with it prejudices the party served, the court, on motion of the party served, may extend the time to answer or otherwise plead.

File a Motion

I do not know what the rules are there, but I would look into filing a motion to set aside default judgment, and I would explain that service did not occur as indicated on the filed proof of service in that motion.
