I bought a vehicle from them and it broke down a week later. They told me to bring it up and they would fix it ,they looked at it and said everything was fine 2 days later it blew the head gasket.

I had to replace the whole motor because it had seized it. Three other people I talked to they did the same thing too. their autos are junk.

They also lied to the loan company. They told them that the vehicle had a tow package so they would fiance it, it didn't.

They wanted me to lie about it when they called me. I wouldn't so they couldn't fiance it. After about 4 weeks they had to take it back because they couldn't find me a loan.

Hi Mark,

This is a little late to be of any assistance to you, but for future reference, read the contract.
In Utah, a dealership who agrees to arrange financing for you has 7 days to notify you in writing if they are unable to obtain the promised financing. Read Title 41 of the Utah Code. It is available on the internet.

41-3-401. Disclosure of financing arrangements relating to the sale of motor vehicles.

b) The form to be used when the seller agrees to seek arrangements for financing shall read as follows:

"(1) THE PURCHASER OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE DESCRIBED IN THIS CONTRACT HAS EXECUTED THE CONTRACT IN RELIANCE UPON THE SELLER'S REPRESENTATION THAT THE SELLER CAN PROVIDE FINANCING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE. THE PRIMARY TERMS OF THE FINANCING ARE AS FOLLOWS:

INTEREST RATE BETWEEN ______ % AND ______ % PER ANNUM, TERM BETWEEN _____________ MONTHS AND _____________ MONTHS. MONTHLY PAYMENTS BETWEEN $ ____________ PER MONTH AND $ ____________ PER MONTH BASED ON A DOWN PAYMENT OF $ ______________.

(2) (a) IF SELLER IS NOT ABLE TO ARRANGE FINANCING WITHIN THE TERMS DISCLOSED, THEN SELLER MUST WITHIN SEVEN CALENDAR DAYS OF THE DATE OF SALE MAIL NOTICE TO THE PURCHASER THAT HE HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO ARRANGE FINANCING.

(5) A dealer's failure to execute the disclosure required by Subsection (2), or its failure to provide written notice to the purchaser within the time frame specified in this section, subject the dealer to the sanctions in Section 41-3-701.

I am not an attorney, but have filed a civil suit against another dealership in Utah. I also filed a complaint with the DMV, and the dealership was cited for this.

Just as you are bound by the terms of the contract, so are they. They wouldn't allow you to bring the car back a month later saying "Gee, I changed my mind." A contract works both ways.
Car dealerships have a hard time understanding this concept.
