I broke my glass frames and got them fixed at Low Country Vision Center while on vacation. Fritz Radcliffe, optician, convvinced me to switch to a different kind of frame, assuring me my clip-on sunglasses would work with the new frame. They did not, so Fritz tried to retrofit them for me and broke the clip-ons.

He told me to take them home and have my eye doctor send them in to the company to be replaced, which my doctor could not do because I hadn;t bought them there. I had to pay to ship them to Fritz so he could send them back and get replacements for me.

At that point he told me he would have to charge me $25 for shipping to the frame maker, back to him and back to me (3 ways). I thought that was extravagant but had no choice. If I had just bought new clip-ons it would have cost me $90. So I paid $25 on my credit card.

Fritz then got the replacements and shipped them to the wrong address (my mother's), and she had to pay UPS to ship them to my home. Then, they finally came and they were the wrong kind! Fritz had messed up the numbers.

I had to pay to ship them back to Fritz, and then he finally got the company to ship me the correct clip-ons. However, he refused to reimburse me for any of the shipping. I also know that he spent nowhere near $25 for 3-way shipping -- for instance, when they came to the wrong address, the shipping amount was $4. So he overcharged me for shipping, and then he didn't try at all to make up for my being without my clip-on sunglasses for over 2 months.
