On Saturday 13 April 2002. My wife and I were in the Lowe's store on Northwoods Blvd, North Charleston, SC.
There were a few items that were marked for one price ie a Jasmine vine for 4.00. At the register it was ringing up for 7.49 and people were paying the price. My wife called the error to the attention of the clerk who just more or less blew us off, as if this were an everyday thing.
Finally she did get the attention of someone after taking the bush back.
The reason for reporting this is that if a error existed it should be corrected right then and not keep selling items at an inflated price......
I check a couple of other items including the one that I bough and the too were ringing up for more with a margin of 10 to 30 percent more and the people were paying without noticing.
At the very least this is NOT a good business practice.

Of the 20,000 daily tasks that you do-are you telling me you make no mistakes. There are hundreds of thousands of products inside the building at Lowes and another 20-30 live plants of immeasurable numbers of variety's outside of the building. Give the place a break-I was a live nursery specialist for Lowes for 3 years and we end up pricing everything ourselves and doing our best to help people as well. As for the cashier, I have never met one with an IQ higher than a hampster and for that I am sorry. I reccomend if you ever have a problem at Lowes, go straight to the manager on duty--If you are nice about it they will always help you.
